Glass balustrades

Stairs, decks and voids, with nothing in the way.

Four ways to hold glass. Spigots for a clean floor line, posts and clamps for budget runs, standoffs for a face-fixed float, and a channel for the cleanest look of all. Supply only, or we arrange the install.

Choose how the glass is held.

Glass on spigots along a sloping deck

Spigot

Glass sits in a heavy 2205 spigot, bolted or core-drilled. The classic frameless look.

Stainless posts with glass clamps on a timber deck

Post and clamp

Posts carry the load, clamps carry the glass. Lightest on the wallet and on the deck.

Glass fixed to the side of a staircase with round standoffs

Standoff

Glass floats off the stringer or slab edge on round standoffs. No footprint on the tread.

Glass set in a base channel with a slotted top rail

Channel

A continuous base channel, inside, top or side fixed. No hardware breaking the line.

Pool spigots are not balustrade spigots.

A balustrade stops people falling. It's designed to a higher load than a pool fence, so the spigot, glass thickness and span are chosen for the drop and the use. Send us the fall height and we spec the right system rather than guess.
