Dog yards and dog fencing

Your dog will test every gap. So we don't leave any.

Dog yards, dog runs and pet fencing in black steel or aluminium, made to your yard. Small dog gaps, dig-proof bottoms, self-closing gates. Supply only, or we arrange the install across South East Queensland.

BUILT FOR SMALL DOGS
AND BIG DIGGERS
How dogs get out

Three escape routes. We close all three.

Most dog fences fail the same way. The gap is too wide, the bottom is too high, or the gate gets left open. A good dog yard is designed around your dog, not around a stock panel.

Through
Small dogs squeeze through standard picket gaps. We size the gap to your dog, down to tight small-dog spacing.
Under
Diggers go under. A low bottom rail, plus a dig barrier or concrete edge where it matters.
Over
Jumpers go over. 1200mm suits most dogs. 1500mm to 1800mm for athletes and climbers.
Gates
The gate is the weak point. Self-closing hinges and a latch nobody forgets to shut.
What you get

A yard they love. A fence you forget about.

Black powder coated steel or aluminium panels, posts and gates, made to your fence line. Matched to your driveway gates and pool fence if you want the whole property to line up.

In plain words

Tell us how long the fence runs, how big your dog is, and where the gates go. We work out the panels, posts, gaps and gates, and send you one price. No guessing at the hardware store.

Questions

Dog yard questions, answered.

How high should a dog fence be?

1200mm keeps most small and medium dogs in. Go 1500mm to 1800mm for big dogs, jumpers and climbers, and use a flat top with no horizontal rails they can step on.

What gap stops a small dog getting through?

Small dogs and puppies slip through standard picket gaps. We size the gap between pickets to your dog and keep the bottom rail low, so there is no squeeze point at the base.

My dog digs. What then?

Add a dig barrier along the fence line, or run the fence on a concrete edge. Tell us in your enquiry and we will price it in.

Can you install it?

Yes. We supply the full kit up and down the East Coast, and we can arrange the install across South East Queensland.

How much does a dog yard cost?

It depends on length, height, style and gates. Send your lengths and we price the whole kit, posts and gates included, usually within one business day.
